Yetunde gives birth to baby girl!

My elder sister Yetunde was safely delivered of a baby girl in Jos, Nigeria yesterday. It's her second baby. Her husband David is presently in Burundi working as a medic in a tecnical aid corp team. He's been gone for three or four months now.

The news comes as my colleague in the office also died today.

Life!

While some rejoice some cry.

Started reading Brian Tracy's Many Miles To Go last week. I've read a couple of Tracy's books in the past and I think this is good. I hope I can finish it soon. I never seem to finish all the books that I buy. Is it just me or does it happen to everyboy? I don't know.

  1. Congrats to your the birth of your niece! I used to live in Jos too. Gosh, I miss the place. It's not as flashy as Lagos, of course, but it is just good enough 4 me. I especially loved the weather. But anyways...

I'm sorry about your coworker's death. Indeed, life is nothing. It comes & goes like that.

I have over ten books that I borrowed from the library. I have refused 2 return then because I have not read them. I don't feel good borrowing a book and not reading it. It feels wasted, so to say. But I have been busy anyway.

Got ur comment on both of my blogs, but referring to the one about not finishing books you started writing... I understand. The book I'm writing now is my nth one. I have lost count as to how many times I have tried writing a book. Somewhere along the ling, I lose something: focus or passion. I'm not quite sure which one it is.

You can check out a preview of the book I'm writing now. I'm called Every Woman. Here's the 1st chapter http://veraezimora.blogspot.com/2006/10/every-woman-chapter-1.html if you like it, then go ahead and read the next. I have chapter one to six online. Tell me wat u think if you do.

Gosh, is it just me or have I left you a mighty long comment?

  2. Hey Vera,

Daluu, this is the longest comment I have ever received. And I'm happy it comes from someone like you.

About reading and writing and not completing I guess it just shows we're human.

Thanks for your checking in and hope to see you around more often.
